Merhaba..turkish for hello..

As some of you know i will be leaving for Turkey soon, yes the country , not the bird.I can be brave and all big. It has popular destinations such as Istanbul,Ephesus, Cappadoci and Belek. I will be situated , with dear friends Sam Cox and Trix vivier in Belek. so i decided to start a blog and let you into these months of intense training, cocktails and Turkish men.

The road has been long and hard so just to raise your heart rate a little bit i will let you in on some stories:
we must leave for Johannesburg supposedly tomorrow- but have received no flight numbers, have no passports(as this was couriered off to Johannesburg about a week ago for work permits) we have nada,- and though the visums and work permits were supposedly sorted out , we have to personally go for "a goo see" at the Turkish embassy. now you understand why me and my friends are resorting to extreme amounts of alcohol to serve as a sedative..To make it worse we must personally write a handwritten letter with our signature on( now this i did find very funny , and for those of you who know me , know i don't laugh quite like the normal "lady" ) to proclaim that we are not going to whore ourselves or engage in illegal activity to retain money, the reason for this is because of the bloody Russians! they say they are dancers wanting to make a living in turkey , but actually they are prostitutes looking for greener( and better looking) pastures.

hence, i have decided to start a blog and make you laugh with some of the ridiculous stories and adventures we are going to be faced with. Sam and i are going to be sticking together like flies to butter as trix will be keeping the two of us calm most of the time or under control. ja mamma trix.

- May you choose to look beyond life's storms to uncover the blessings that the rain brings and during all the twists and turns may you always choose life-
